Pride of Gorey
I went to the Bass & Lobster on Tuesday for lunch and the immediate welcome was warming to say the least. I decided to have the 3 course lunch menu for £20 (yes 3 courses for £20) . The fishcake starter was “melt in the mouth” quality. For the main i had the Bass & Lobster Fish & Chips, which was beer battered pollock, with homemade chips and accompanying pea puree & tartare sauce. Again it was fantastic. Unfortunately the 2 courses were so filling i had to pass on the dessert, but would recommend you trying one, if you have space
