In this interactive and fun workshop, we will be looking at the fusion of the English Language from earliest times, considering the etymology of individual words and their development into the English that we speak today.
Along the way we will look at examples of Anglo-Saxon riddles, restaurant menus and some poetry, all sourced from the St Helier Library shelves.
