Children’s Auditions part of playdays Children’s Festival
- 15 JULY – 19 JULY 4.30PM – 6PM OR 6.30PM – 8PM
Open to 8 – 17 years only. You must be 8 years old on or before 31 August 2024 to audition.
Recalls: Saturday 20 July: 10am – 4pm (you will be advised if you have been recalled)
Book yourself onto a 90-minute workshop audition on one of the dates and at one of the times above, by emailing: [email protected] with:
- Name of auditionee
- Date of Birth
- Next-of-kin details and address
- Telephone contact details
- Preferred audition date and time
and we will confirm your slot thereafter.
Time slots are on a first-come-first-served basis and Jersey Arts Centre reserves the right to move auditionees into fuller time slots! Please arrive at least 10 minutes early. Deadline for receipt of emails: 5pm on Friday 5 July. Emails will not be processed after this time.
All you need is energy, commitment, a great sense of adventure and a beautiful sense of humour. There is no need to prepare anything but come suitably dressed to sing, dance, act and play! Jersey Arts Centre is looking to cast the five children in the story, the Oompa-Loompas and Squirrels! There will be 18 performances with two/three teams of children.
You must be available for the entire production period from: Friday 6 September to Saturday 21 December 2024. Not everyone will be needed at every rehearsal, but you must still be available! Rehearsals are generally on: Sundays, Monday and Tuesday evenings, on some Friday evenings, occasional Saturdays and with intensive weeks for the music.
