I play regularly for the Repair Cafe. I have also performed for the Ports of Jersey, Harbour Gallery, Rag Trade, Jersey Christmas Fayre, Macmillan Nurses and La Veil’ye at Hamptonne and numerous charity events.
My set includes, Latino, American songbook, some songs from musicals and innovative covers of more modern songs, plus one or two originals. I also have a Country & Western set. a folk music set and an electro-acoustic set. I can turn my hand to organising musical evenings.
My roots are in folk music, performing gigs in my native North-West, the largest being to a crowd of 500 at Oldham Civic Hall. I recorded two albums in the 1980’s. These have been digitally re-mastered and are available to listen to on Bandcamp along with more recent material, recorded here, on Jersey.
Lendanear are a songwriting team: Colin Lever and Norman Warwick. Originally they were a guitar and vocal duo formed in the 1970s, playing mainly folk clubs and festivals in the north of England.
