Description
Your tour will commence from the St Peter Port Ferry Terminal as soon as you disembark the ferry. You will enjoy a scenic drive through the bustling capital of Guernsey, St Peter Port, before heading inland towards the parish of St Andrews.
Your tour will stop to allow you to explore the extraordinary Little Chapel. Originally built in 1914, this chapel is one of the smallest in the world and is decorated beautifully in broken china, shells and pebbles. The Little Chapel features in the book and film ‘The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Society’.
You will then return to the coach and head through the various beautiful parishes of Guernsey towards Pleinmont Point. This is the most south-west point of Guernsey where you will be able to see stunning sea views, the rugged coastline of the island and Les Hanois Lighthouse. You will see a number of fortifications established by the occupying German Forces of the Second World War and have the opportunity to visit the restored German Gun Battery.
Next you will head along the west coast of Guernsey, stopping for a light lunch along the way. You will pass some of Guernsey’s finest beaches including L’Eree, Vazon, Cobo and Grande Rocque.
The tour will then return you back to the thriving harbour and town of St Peter Port will you will disembark the coach and have the opportunity to enjoy some free time.
