Join Stephen Le Quesne on a wonderful evening stroll to Mont Grantez to view the Super Moon.
We will meet at the Frances Le Sueur Centre and walk up to Mont Grantez where, if we are lucky, we may see an owl or two and/or bats flying in the darkness as well as the ‘Super Moon’. A super moon is a full moon or a new moon that nearly coincides with perigee—the closest that the Moon comes to the Earth in its elliptic orbit—resulting in a slightly larger-than-usual apparent size of the Moon as viewed from Earth. Please Bring torches and binoculars if you have them.
